A bit confused at first, but then thrilled with this app:

As an artist, I do a lot of drawing, painting, and creating in many mediums and am always interested in new ways of "mark-making." This app is a good tool for doing that, though at first the icons seemed not to work: the little hand at the top of the canvas did nothing (I thought), and the zoom and reduce actions seemed to leave marks whenever my fingers touched the screen. Come to find out, with a little thought and experimenting, I discovered the "little hand tool" is what you use to zoom, move around the canvas, and reduce....! Then, going back to the brush icon, to paint and make marks. This worked for leaving no marks when adjusting canvas size, and also cleared up my confusion as to why I couldnt make marks while zooming around in the "hand" mode... I thought the "hand" was for making marks - it is not! So, now that I understand how the various tools work, I am very pleased to be making marks with this very fine app. As for "undoing," you CAN go back a number of steps - one just keeps going back to the "undo" button. A bit tedious, but using PShop and Painter on my Mac, requires the same behavior... not a problem when one is after the right effect. As for drawing into and painting photos, this app works very nicely.
I recommend this app for creative people to use in a setting when pencil, drawing pad, canvas, paints or computers and tablets are neither near-by, or when a bright idea suddenly crops up in ones travels. Of the six photo-adjusting/mark-making apps I have, this is the most versatile for me. Creating original pieces is very easy and the actions of the tools are very fluid and responsive - the water color brush even leaves a bit of that "edge" that I love, when using the "stone" paper.
Also a useful app for those who are not necessarily "artists" by profession or choice, but who want to "make marks" of their own, and enhance their own photos. The included tutorial will help guide someone who has never wielded a brush to create a fine product.
I have not yet tried to print any of my creations, and will let you know how this turns out -
